Anti-wrinkle treatments

Anti-wrinkle injections improve the appearance by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles. These injections also treat medical conditions, including migraines, hyperhidrosis, overactive bladder and eye problems. To maintain results, treatments should be repeated every three to six months.

Jawline Contouring

Jawline filler is a nonsurgical cosmetic procedure that gives the jaw area a more defined look. We use targeted dermal fillers underneath the skin. Add volume to your jawline. Jawline fillers help us to create a more defined separation between the jawline and neck, gives the jawline a sharper angle, provides a more youthful appearance, to improve symmetry and to reduce the effects of aging such as sagging skin and wrinkles.

Non-Surgical Rhinoplasty

A nonsurgical rhinoplasty is type of minimally invasive dermal filler procedure that changes the shape of your nose for up to 12 months. This procedure is suitable for people who are looking to smooth out any bumps in their nose or to make the nose appear straighter, remove the appearance of ‘hook nose’ or a less angular nose shape and for those who would like to lift the tip of their nose. This procedure is perfect for clients who do not want to commit to a permanent solution, or are worried about the risks and recovery time involved in a traditional rhinoplasty.

Nail Studio Mini Manicure

Nail Studio Mini Manicure provides a convenient and efficient nail care service that focuses on giving your nails a well-groomed and polished look in a shorter time frame. It involves shaping and filing the nails, gentle cuticle care, a moisturizing hand massage, and finishes with a beautiful application of nail polish or a buffed shine for a neat and polished appearance.

Manicure and Colour Polish

A manicure is a cosmetic beauty treatment for the hands and fingernails. It involves the grooming and care of the nails, cuticles, and skin of the hands. Manicures are typically done in a salon or spa by a trained nail technician, although they can also be performed at home.

The final step of a manicure is applying nail polish. A base coat is first applied to protect the nails and prevent staining. Then, the chosen color polish is applied in thin, even layers. After allowing each layer to dry, a topcoat is added to provide shine and extend the polish’s longevity.

Manicure Plus Shellac Polish and Mini Pedicure

Manicure Plus Shellac Polish and Mini Pedicure is a combination of two popular nail treatments: a manicure with Shellac polish and a mini pedicure.

The Manicure Plus Shellac Polish and Mini Pedicure is a comprehensive nail treatment that includes shaping, cuticle care, moisturizing massage, and polish application for both your hands and feet. The addition of Shellac polish to the manicure provides a longer-lasting and chip-resistant finish.

Gummy Smile Correcting

A “gummy smile,” is when a person’s smile reveals more of the gums than is considered attractive. Factors include: small teeth, too much gum tissue, and a thin upper lip. A gummy smile can easily and effectively be treated with Anti-wrinkle injections. Anti-wrinkle injections when injected, can relax the muscles in the upper lip and limit the rise of the upper lip when smiling, so the gums will remain covered. Dermal fillers may also be used to correct the smile.

Lip Augmentation

A lip flip is a non-surgical method of creating a fuller looking lip. Anti-wrinkle injections are injected into the upper lip to create an illusion of a larger lip. It relaxes the muscles above the lip, resulting in the upper lip “flipping” slightly upward. The procedure makes the lip look more prominent, but it does not increase the size of the lip like traditional fillers do.

Dermal Filler

Dermal fillers are injections that plump up wrinkles and smooth lines on your face. There are several types of dermal fillers. Healthcare providers usually inject dermal fillers in the areas around your eyes, mouth and nose. Dermal fillers plump up wrinkles, smooth lines and restore volume in your face. People choose to get dermal fillers to enhance their facial features or gain a more youthful appearance.

Eyebrow Lift

Anti-wrinkle injection brow lift is a type of non-invasive procedure that treats frown lines between your eyebrows. It also elevates the height of your eyebrows, achieving a more youthful look and exposing more of the eyelid that is often lost due to the ageing process. This procedure works by relaxing underlying muscles to smooth your skin on the outside and relaxing the muscles between the brows. This allows the forehead muscles to pull up the now-relaxed muscles between the brows, thereby elevating the brows and opening up the eyes.

Non Surgical Aptos Thread Face Lift

Facial thread lifting is an easy way to smooth wrinkles and tighten sagging skin without surgery. The procedure involves inserting threads into the soft tissues which are then pulled tight, lifting the skin. As a result, the face is redefined, volume restored & the effects of ageing are significantly reduced. This procedure is ideal for those aged 40+. The results are transformative and immediate. The main benefit of the thread face lift is that it is minimally invasive which means no downtime or surgical incisions, leaves no scars and is a cost effect way of reducing the signs of aging.

Half Face Lift

Half face lift is a cosmetic procedure that aims to rejuvenate the appearance of the face by lifting and tightening the skin and underlying tissues on the lower half of the face. The procedure targets the area from the cheeks down to the jawline, including the jowls, nasolabial folds (the lines that run from the nose to the corners of the mouth), and marionette lines (the lines that run from the corners of the mouth down to the chin).

Full Face Lift

A full facelift is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is designed to improve the appearance of the face, neck, and jawline. It involves tightening and repositioning the underlying facial tissues, removing excess skin, and smoothing out wrinkles and lines. The procedure typically addresses sagging skin, deep wrinkles, and loss of volume in the cheeks, chin, and jawline.

Skin Redensification

Redensification is a unique Hyaluronic Acid treatment that hydrates and repairs the skin. Skin redensity skin booster is used to improve several characteristics of our skin that are negatively impacted by age, such as sun-damaged skin, loss of elasticity, thin, damaged skin, restored luminosity, wrinkles and sagging skin and hydration Treatment areas are typically: Face, neck, décolletage and hands.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Laser Lipo Suction

Laser liposuction is a fat reduction procedure that is a less traumatic and less invasive option than traditional liposuction. The procedure is also noted to lead to less swelling and bruising and require less recovery time than traditional liposuction. A local anaesthetic is required, and the patient may go home straight after the procedure. Laser liposuction works very well on belly fat, flanks, thighs, upper arms, hips and buttocks.

Body Filler Treatments

Just like dermal fillers used in the face, body filler is used to enhance, contour and volumise certain areas, and correct any asymmetry and fill any hollowing or loss of volume. Body filler is also commonly used to fill crevices such as ‘hip dips’ (a dip seen when standing straight on, between the buttocks and the stomach) which many women experience but don’t particularly want to have surgical intervention to remove them.

Neck Lift

The thread neck lift is most commonly performed under local anaesthesia and the procedure usually takes less than 60 to 90 minutes to complete, depending on the number of threads used. Patients are able to go home soon after the procedure. A thread neck lift uses tiny threads to lift and support the droopy areas of the neck.

Permanent Makeup

Semi-permanent make-up is micro-pigmentation (similar to that of a tattoo) and is used to enhance the eyes, brows and lips. We offer semi-permanent eyeliner, lipliner and magic shading eyebrows all of which can last between 2 and  5 years, depending on each individual client.

Eyebrow Tinting

Eyebrow tinting involves smoothing semi-permanent dye over your eyebrows to make them appear fuller and slightly darker than normal. Unlike micro-needling (tiny little tattoos on your eyebrows), tinting is a fast way to enhance your natural brows. If you’ve got fair hair or your brows are sparse, then tinting gives them some structure and body.

Eyelash Tinting

Tinting is a process of applying a safe, semi-permanent dye to your eyebrows/eyelashes. This is done to make your brows/lashes appear not only darker, but also longer and fuller. Brow/Lash tints are a happy medium between mascara and extensions, giving you a bolder, wide-eyed look with very little maintenance. Because the process tints the entire strand from the base of brows/lashes to the tip, it can also make the brows/lashes appear thicker and longer, too. If you have naturally light eyebrows/eyelashes, you will see the most dramatic difference with a brow/lash tint.

Eyebrow Lamination

Eyebrow/eyelash lamination is a relatively new procedure that focuses on creating shiny, smooth brows and lashes. Also sometimes called an “eyebrow/eyelash perm,” the high-shine effects tend to be sought after by those who may be experiencing thinning or unruly brows/lashes. Unlike microblading, needles and colouring are not involved. As a semi-permanent procedure, eyebrow/eyelash lamination may also be a good fit if you want to keep your brows/lashes styled a certain way but are tired of using eyebrow gel or mascara every day. You will need to repeat the process at some point in the future to maintain your results.

Eyebrow Waxing

Eyebrow waxing is a method of removing unwanted hair, either as a cold or hot wax. Cold wax strips are pieces of pre-waxed and ready-to-use muslin or cellulose strips that are pre-cut to different sizes according to the areas where they are meant to be used. This method is called “cold wax” because it doesn’t need to be heated, unlike hot wax, which requires heat. Most cold wax strips have to be warmed slightly between the palms of your hands.

Cryotherapy Facials

Local cryotherapy is a cryostimulation treatment that increases blood flow to injured or sore muscles and joints. Extreme cold applied to the injured area stimulates oxygenated blood flow, reducing tension and inflammation. Immediately following treatment, the natural analgesic effect caused by cryostimulation reduces tension and allows treated muscles to relax.

Medical Chemical Skin Peel

Chemical peels reverse the signs of sun damage, wrinkles, fines lines and skin ageing. Chemical peeling procedures have been used for many decades to treat fine lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, acne and melasma. Not all chemical peels are the same. We work closely with you to identify the correct peel for your skin type. Chemical peels work by stimulating the shedding of dead skin cells revealing beautiful smooth skin. The result is an improvement in surface texture and the appearance of your skin making it look more refreshed and youthful.

Platelet-Rich Plasma Dermal Restoration

Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) has a high concentration of platelets. which allows for the formation and release of growth factors and active proteins that promote healing. It is widely used in facial skin rejuvenation. A centrifuge is spun around to extract protein-rich plasma. The platelets are also removed. The sample is then concentrated and called platelet-rich plasma (PRP). The high levels of growth factors in the PRP help the body to heal, renew and restore. Results last for up to 12 months.

The injection is an effective weight loss drug which is used to help people with high body mass indexes (BMI). With lifestyle changes, around 86% of people who use the injections lose weight.

Full Blood Panel

We ustilise blood tests in a number of ways, for example, assessing the health of certain organs or screening for some genetic conditions.

Functional Nutrition Consultation

Functional nutrition is the practice of considering every aspect of health, diet, and overall lifestyle when giving nutrition recommendations. It aligns with the ideologies of functional medicine. Functional medicine follows an approach to healthcare that takes into consideration how interrelated every part of the body is. This strategy seeks to look at the big picture of health by restoring physiological functioning.

Food Intolerance Consultation

A food intolerance is when you have difficulty digesting certain foods or ingredients in food. It’s not usually serious, but eating the food you’re intolerant to can make you feel very unwell. Check if you have a food intolerance If you have a food intolerance, you usually get symptoms a few hours after eating the food or ingredient you’re intolerant to.

Full Health Screen

A full health screen is a comprehensive medical checkup that aims to assess your overall health and detect any potential health problems before they become serious. A full health screen typically involves a series of tests and examinations that cover various aspects of your health, including physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing.

Menopause Health Screen

Menopause is a natural biological process that marks the end of a woman’s reproductive years. It typically occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, with the average age being 51. As women transition through menopause, it is important to prioritise their health and wellbeing by receiving regular health screenings. Menopause health screenings can help detect potential health issues early, making them easier to manage and treat.

Diabetic Health Screen

A Diabetic Health Screen is a set of medical tests and assessments designed to evaluate the health of individuals with diabetes or those who are at risk of developing diabetes. The screening typically involves measuring the level of glucose in the blood, along with other relevant tests to assess the risk of complications related to diabetes, such as kidney disease, eye problems, nerve damage, and heart disease.

Anti-wrinkle injections improve the appearance by relaxing the muscles that cause wrinkles. These injections also treat medical conditions, including migraines, hyperhidrosis, overactive bladder and eye problems. To maintain results, treatments should be repeated every three to six months.

Our doctors inject small amounts of Anti-wrinkle injection into specific muscles to smooth wrinkles, prevent migraine headaches and treat a wide range of other health conditions. Anti-wrinkle injection blocks nerve signals to muscles. As a result, injected muscles can’t contract (tense up). These effects are always temporary but can last for several months. The muscle injected depends on the primary area of concern. Several areas can be treated in one session.

Anti-wrinkle injections are used to address signs of aging. This treatment can smooth fine lines and wrinkles in several areas of your face, including your:

  • Eyebrows.
  • Forehead.
  • Nose.
  • Eyes (crow’s feet).
  • Lips.
  • Chin.
  • Jawline.
  • Neck.

This treatment usually takes less than half an hour, and recovery time is minimal. Results are seen right away and last months to years depending on the type of filler and the area injected. As you age, your body starts to lose collagen. Collagen is an important substance that exists all over your body, including in your skin, muscles, bones and connective tissues. Decreased amounts of collagen in your skin causes skin laxity (loose) and loss of volume. Skin becomes thinner, loses its elasticity and starts to sag.

You may choose to get dermal fillers to:

  • Add volume to sagging skin
  • Make your facial features more symmetrical
  • Plump up lips and cheeks
  • Smooth wrinkles and creases in your face

The types of fillers we use are:

Hyaluronic acid (HA) is a naturally occurring acid in your skin. It gives your skin volume and keeps it hydrated. With age, your body stops making hyaluronic acid. Results from HA injections usually last six months to a year.

Calcium hydroxylapatite (CaHA) is a type of filler that consists of a substance you have in your bones. Results from these fillers typically last around a year and are for deeper wrinkles

Poly-L-lactic acid (PLLA) is a substance that helps your body create its own collagen. Doctors usually use poly-L-lactic acid to smooth deep wrinkles on your face. The results can last two years or more.

Mesotherapy is a technique that uses injections of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts to rejuvenate and tighten skin, as well as remove excess fat.

Mesotherapy is used to:

  • Remove fat in areas like the stomach, thighs, buttocks, hips, legs, arms, and face

Reduce cellulite

  • Fade wrinkles and lines
  • Tighten loose skin
  • Recontour the body
  • Lighten pigmented skin
  • Treat alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss

The technique uses very fine needles to deliver a series of injections into the middle layer (mesoderm) of skin. The idea behind mesotherapy is that it corrects underlying issues like poor circulation and inflammation that cause skin damage.

There isn’t a standard formula for the substances injected in mesotherapy. Our Doctors use many different solutions, including:

  • Enzymes like collagenase and hyaluronidase
  • Herbal extracts
  • Vitamins and minerals

Just like dermal fillers used in the face, body filler is used to enhance, contour and volumise certain areas, and correct any asymmetry and fill any hollowing or loss of volume. Body filler is also commonly used to fill crevices such as ‘hip dips’ (a dip seen when standing straight on, between the buttocks and the stomach) which many women experience but don’t particularly want to have surgical intervention to remove them. This is where body fillers are a fantastic alternative to invasive methods. Depending on the area/s to be treated and their size, this procedure can take between 1 and 2 hours to administer. Depending on your body’s response to hyaluronic acid and how quickly you metabolise your body filler, you can expect to enjoy results between 9 and 12 months. If you take care of yourself, eat healthily and don’t over-exercise, your results should last longer than if you smoke, don’t eat well and take part in excessively strenuous exercise.

Body filler treatment can be used to enhance or even out:

  • Buttocks
  • Breast
  • Hips
  • Calves
  • Male chest enhancement

Semi-permanent make-up is micro-pigmentation (similar to that of a tattoo) and is used to enhance the eyes, brows and lips. We offer semi-permanent eyeliner, lipliner and magic shading eyebrows all of which can last between 2 and  5 years, depending on each individual client.

Lip Liner: Define your lips with permanent lip liners and give them a brighter, intense effect that will change the natural colour of your lips. Correct faded or uneven contours of the lips. This service can give a more youthful appearance to the lip and intensify the contours of your lips without any extra effort on your part each day. This is a fantastic alternative to your morning routine, and you’ll never have to worry again about lipstick stains on your drinks!

Eyebrows: Semi-permanent brows or micropigmentation unlike microblading, is performed using  different shaped and sized hand-held needle cartridges. This allows the therapist to carefully design your brows with a more personal touch, using different techniques such as shading, to create fusion brows as well as feathered hair strokes and ombré powdered brows.

Each wax strip has two sides: one side contains the pre-wax and the other has a clear layer that needs to be removed in order to expose the wax.

Hot wax is the most popular method of removing body hair and is also used on facial hair. The hot wax is applied to a small section of the skin with unwanted hair and in the direction of hair growth. As the wax cools, it melts onto the top layer of the skin and grips at each hair strand. Once the wax is applied, a cloth strip is placed over the wax and pressed down firmly. After two to three seconds, the cloth strip is quickly pulled off in the opposite direction of hair growth leaving your skin feeling soft and smooth.

Post-treatment, participants often report stronger muscles and joints, increased tolerance to strenuous exercise, and boosted athletic performance.

A cryotherapy facial involves having liquid nitrogen pumped over the surface of your face for 2 to 3 minutes. The goal is to give the skin a glowy, youthful, and even appearance. Cryo facials are an effective way to tighten and brighten the skin. They increase blood flow to the face, which can make the skin look healthier and plump.

We ustilise blood tests in a number of ways, for example, assessing the health of certain organs or screening for some genetic conditions.

Some of the most common blood tests performed are:

  • OHP3
  • Lipid Profile
  • Glucose
  • FBC
  • HBA1C
  • Thyroid Function Test
  • Prostate Specific Antigen Test
  • Hormone Profile (MENP)
  • Vitamin D
  • Iron
  • B12
  • Liver Function

Functional nutrition is the practice of considering every aspect of health, diet, and overall lifestyle when giving nutrition recommendations. It aligns with the ideologies of functional medicine.

Functional medicine follows an approach to healthcare that takes into consideration how interrelated every part of the body is. This strategy seeks to look at the big picture of health by restoring physiological functioning. During a functional nutrition consultation, symptoms are seen as clues for managing your primary health issues, whether they are related to diet, illnesses, medications, lifestyle factors, exposure to toxins, antibiotic use, or other factors.

While standard healthcare will try to suppress these symptoms with medication, functional nutrition and functional medicine see them as clues for understanding the underlying issues within the body. By considering the impacts of seemingly unrelated factors on health, functional nutritionists will put together a holistic health plan that takes every aspect of health into consideration.

For these reasons, functional nutrition is never one-size-fits-all. Instead, it is a highly customisable holistic health perspective that takes your unique situation into account to support healing from the cellular level.

Symptoms can last for a few hours or days. A food intolerance is caused by your body not being able to digest a certain food or an ingredient in food. The most common food intolerance is lactose intolerance. This is when your body is not able to digest lactose, a type of sugar mainly found in milk and dairy products such as cheese and yoghurts.

But you can be intolerant to any type of food or ingredient in food, such as:

  • Gluten (wheat, rye and barley) – found in foods like bread and pasta
  • Histamine – found in foods and drinks like wine and cheese
  • Caffeine – found in coffee, tea and some fizzy drinks
  • Alcohol
  • Sulphites – found in cider, beer and wine

Tests you may have include:

  • A special elimination diet where you avoid eating the food you might be intolerant to, to see if your symptoms get better – after a few weeks you start eating the food again to see if your symptoms return
  • blood tests
  • a breath test if you might be lactose intolerant
  • You may also be asked to keep a food and symptoms diary to help work out what may be triggering your symptoms.
